My Recipe for Success

I firmly believe anything can be achieved that is worked for.  The level of effort is dependent upon your natural abilty to perform the task on your own.  Some can run a five minute mile like its nothing, while other need training, a diet, and a tailwind.

We are all destined for success in some capacity.  I we weren’t, we wouldn’t adapt to our situations to get past obstacles.

There are four components, or pillars, to reaching success: PatiencePerseverancePrayer, and the new addition (no Bobby Brown) Positivity.

1.the quality of being patientas the bearing of provocation, annoyance, misfortune,
or pain, without complaint, loss of temper, irritation, or the like. ability or willingness to suppress restlessness or annoyance when confronted
with delay: to have patience with a slow learner.
3.quiet, steady perseverance; even-tempered care; diligence: to work with patience.

Patience is a virtue.  Truer words haven’t been spoken.  As the definition states, you must remain steady through the pain, misfortune, loss of temper, and the like.  Or as E.T. the Hip-Hop Preacher so elouently said, “HOLD!

1.steady persistence in a course of action, a purpose, a state, etc., especially in spite of difficulties,obstacles, or discouragement.

Again, the steady, staying the course especially in spite of the difficulties, obstacles, or discouragement.  Know your destination and stay headed toward that goal.  Dare I say, be STUBBORN AS HELL. The postman delivers regardless of snow, rain or gloom of night.  They are focused on the task at hand and get the job done at all costs.

1.a devout petition to God or an object of worship.

Regardless of your religious belief you have to believe in something, at the least, believe in yourself.  The spiritual calmness will help you weather the storm from those “haters” and the other speed bumps along your road to success.  Any issue that you may come across has been skillfully placed to teach a lesson and make you stronger.

1.the state or character of being positivea positivity that accepts the world as it is.

Hard times will come, it is a given.  Your spirit and pride will take a bruising.  But you must keep a positive outlook because there are no flowers without rain, and no joy without pain.

Hold the course. Stay Strong. Success is just ahead.
